It is possible to modify Excel’s default blank workbook; you can even modify the default new worksheets that you insert into your existing workbooks.

Excel automatically opens a blank workbook that has three worksheets. Right-click the worksheet name that Excel displays at the bottom of the screen to rename your active worksheet.
