Currently, Argo project has multiple components maintained as sub-projects. Argo Workflows brings a declarative workflow mechanism to Kubernetes.

There are four components to Argo. First is Argo Workflows, which is an open-source container-native workflow engine for orchestrating parallel jobs on Kubernetes.

Argo does that by providing an easy way to combine three modes of computing, namely services, workflows and event-based, to create jobs and applications on Kubernetes.
